It is not confidential anymore. TDC is finally looking for a replacement for HA. Apparently they want a proven engineering leader with an actual track record of delivering products and who understands technology. Don't feel sorry for her, she will walk with a ton of money after adding no value just like all the other inept ELT hires have over the last five years. The compensation structure allows ELT members to cash in RSUs totally absent any real performance targets while they layoff regular employees. Then they leave a trail of damage on their way out. No wonder TDC has such low employee morale.

Any leader who takes a hard left or right political stance today will divide 50% of the employees immediately. Why go there if you are trying to motivate your workforce? HA, SM, KCC, and NC got sidetracked on personal, social and political stuff and it has detracted from running our core business. Let's get back to respecting diverse viewpoints, treating EVERYONE with respect, and focusing on beating our competition before we have to shut everything down.

I wonder if HA will still wear the T-shirts now that all the corruption from the organization she admires so much is coming to light? This is a good example of why business people need to stick to business...

HA has been MIA on most Engineering LT calls lately. Is she on a leave of absence or did they take her out before finding a replacement? DS is not much more technical than her, he was just a bus dev guy for a small consulting firm before we hired him so he can't help much. We need someone with technical chops to have any chance at all for survival. It may already be too late.

Our top choice for this job just took themselves out of the running. Probably saw they would have to be a miracle worker to transform this legacy, brittle database into something resembling cloud-native. It is 2022 and Vantage (the same tired old Teradata Database v22 renamed to confuse people) is still lacking basic cloud functionality like separation of compute and storage. That's why the lead engineer for next gen cloud just left for Alteryx. Don't let Gartner fool you. BTW nobody under 40 even knows who Gartner is LOL! So HA gets to keep her high salary and cash in some RSUs for awhile longer.
The virtue signaling and politically divisive t-shirts will be missed - not sure why someone like HA thinks they need to give morality lessons to other people. Especially when she is failing at her day job...

It’s pretty risky to “cancel” HA in this era. the continuing hiring. for example the open req for VP of Product Management “Cloud” is hilarious because anyone with a decade plus of cloud experience will fail in such a role. Why? because it’s too late for the dwindling customer base and the executive leadership consists of zero qualified product/platform competence who will make the painful choices.Your XL customers minds are made up, you’ve got 18 more months and the non-renewals/churn is going to burn. Don’t wait until next March for your “bonus” unless you plan to sunset/retire/severance— that’s limited for most.
