The GEM's are a huge waste of time and psychic energy. They say the same thing over and over and over... "Largest software take private ever" "Opportunity". None of that content is of any consequence. If ELT thinks that these platitudes have an impact on retention, they're smoking the good stuff. Since there is no incentive to stick around (i.e. bi-montly retention bonuses, the risk is 100% on the employee, if you stick around.
