I am often shocked at which positions are given to those who are not at all qualified to be in such positions. Is it really possible that the standards have dropped this much?
How do those who are really knowledgeable feel when someone who is far less qualified is in the same position as they are?

This is what happens when you are desperate to hire. I've actually seen people being hired at higher levels who know less and do less . It is reminiscent of the tech bubble in the late 90s where anyone with a pulse was getting hired in technology.
