But you our treasured and oh so important associates must waste time and fossil fuel commuting to the office 3 days a week to collaborate and be congenial.

Agreed we must invest in our planet. A great idea would be terminating you and using your previous salary to "invest in our planet."
Looks like ADP employs substandard employees who don't know how to work properly. Why does ADP tolerate those kind of workers and instead just fire them and get better workers? How could ADP be so stupid in hiring those awful workers in the first place?
The people in my office are stupid and lazy plus there is zero interest in knowing them or them me. The work environment is not to be considered time to be the social butterfly but is to be considered time to do the job. Too much socializing is occurring and must be stopped. Perhaps a few days suspension without pay might be a great attitude adjustment.
Speaking of those monitors I would go to the empty desk and sit in them throughout the day. I was in a department where most of the people worked from home.
I never minded working in the office but with the high gas prices and the spread of covid it would be helpful if everyone was given the option to work from home for awhile longer. Anyway ADP was good to me all the 32 years I worked there. I know for a fact it is a horrible place to work now. Very sad.
5 or 6 years ago there were monitors placed under peoples desks in EGV and we assumed it was for attendance tracking. there was also a woman with a clipboard (seriously!) who walked each aisle and checked which cubes were occupied. Wouldnt you think a technology company like ADP would use VPN logs to see when people arent in the office instead of spending money on people and monitors? HOw are they tracking attendance now?
Segway ...lol much like "leadership" has done for the last decade.....come, stay until stock options vest and then make a run for it , rinse - repeat.
Perfect example of lack of leadership and continuity. Carlos and the board needs to go ...remember that next time you vote
ADP onsite attendance is NOW being tracked ...
If you dont like it then get a Segway.
ADP has all compensation data from companies that they service. AKA ADP operates in this fashion with purpose and intent (Carlos can spin this as much as he wants)
ADP doesn't offer competitive compensation (please research this for yourself)
ADP won't give you flexible work / life arrangements
Career advancement & development is almost non existent
As a HCM company ADP is short 7K employees. Yet, they keep laying people off every quarter. Very difficult to attract and retain talent when you are so out of touch with the landscape.
You are spoiled. An advantage of working out of the office is getting to know the people that work there, whether in your department, or not. Also, resources are available. As the previous poster said, "bike to work then".
Bike to work then
ADP is old school in many of its practices. And hypocrisy runs rampant. HCM and they struggle and fail at their own hcm. If you look at the tenure here of many of the managers, it’s apparent that they are complacent with status quo. And that’s a shame and unlikely to change.
Collaboration is the name of the game. Actually, NO. It is lack of trust and the belief that people who work from home aren't really working. Better to work under the watchful eyes of sour faced managers who can actually see you work.
