Attrition is getting worse and worse

Not that I blame those who're leaving, considering how much things have changed in the last couple of years. Employees used to be appreciated, now we're nothing but a number to them. It doesn't matter how long you've been here, if they think you cost too much they'll get rid of you without a second thought. I'm planning to leave as soon as an opportunity presents itself as well.

These comments are so true. I work at BD Mebane where the site director thinks that losing good employees is just part of business, "they are doing what's best for them". Nope ! Employees are leaving because of the toxic culture, no respect for employees, no accountability, and most importantly poor leadership. On top of this, our director leans on an inept HR rep who I'm sure fills his mind with all kinds of inaccurate information. Our attrition rate is around 20% not counting layoffs or temps who come and leave almost immediately, but due to HR math he and everyone else for that matter is being told our attrition rate is around 6%. It will never get better if you don't own the problem and look at the facts. Honestly, I am surprised our site is still open.

I walked out today, they’re insanely inefficient, unprofessional, and don’t treat employees with respect at all. Even higher ups like corporate, if anything the higher you go the harsher they are. And the inefficiency was very frustrating. No appreciation, felt really good
