Like someone wisely remarked last year (scroll down), TGS will buy the data library for basically peanuts and make current employees walk the plank. The market is saying it doesn’t want ION products and wants competitor products instead. Many reasons why. Life moves on.

ION has been shopping itself since before Christmas and came up empty. No one wants anything ION has to offer - not investors, not customers, not private equity, not Digicourse, not GXT and not the 2d libraries
DIP financing is solely to allow an orderly liquidation of what remains not to fund this as a going concern
As far as the concern is concerned its going, going gone
TGS or Seismic Exchange Inc (SEI). Either way, this company will be history soon and many people will be unemployed. If you are an ION employee, then start your job search now. Management only cares about their own payout, not you.
