Saw the email the SM left on her screen from the RVP. Full Time Hourly employees in stores being cut in May prior to Q1 report to Wall Street. No more pandemic to drive sales and make Marv look good.

It's happening. FT associates are being targeted. They are being managed out the door.
Way past caring it is what it is .
Don't know how much of it to believe, but my SM did come up to us last night while we were unloading to tell us that our schedules had been changed for next week. They had to cut an additional 150 hours out of overnights, which are running barely enough people as it is.
My store is giving out overtime to full time associates.
Luke asked "What's an APA?"
Asset Protection Agent, the new title for the diminished capacity LPs.
Managers leaving their email open happens alot. Most are scatter brained and stupid so the lucky CSA WILL READ ..trust me. I believe corporate will ruin many lives in the coming months because greed begets more greed. They are evil creatures given way too much power. Leave this job now before you are forced out.
Oh look it's the old" Hey my store manager left her email open and I saw a confidential corporate email that they are laying off fill in the blank position" rumor. Now I'm sure they will cut some random position but eliminating FT positions is just too fantastical when they aren't even giving PTs hrs. At worst they will pull a Sears and cut non tenured FTs down 32hrs.
As soon as Amazon finds a way to ship drywall and wood for cheap, all the home improvement stores will be in the past.
What's an APA? and does anyone know for a fact what positions are getting cut and a date?
Lay me off please, I will take a unenjoyment pay check
Can anyone anywhere get a confirmation on this? Anyone can print out a copy of the email? Obviously the personal info can be redacted to preserve anonymity.
APA’s are on the way out the door if they aren’t already gone.
Who will they look to first to eliminate? Any ideas? I’m thinking support staff…
The Lowes Board brought Marv in for 1 reason - cost cutting. At that time, the Board believed that expense reduction, along with squeezing more money out of Vendors, was the thing Lowes needed. Marv brought in Small Hands and Wi--y B. due to their strong track record of being able to heartlessly fire people and threaten Vendors. They had zero ability to drive sales or motivate, but that wasn't the Board focus at the time. Then, "Lo and Behold"! The Pandemic comes. They blindly benefit from that off the backs of the front line employees, many of whom died from Covid, to maximize unheard of management bonuses. Now, the gifted Pandemic sales are over. We're in for a year or so period of callous, bloodthirsty cost cutting. Then, when that utterly fails, new "Leadership" will arrive. Marv and his cronies will ride into the sunset with insane buyouts and bonuses while the rest of us still slug along minding the store.
Each one has their own bobblehead
Welcome to Q1's 2022 episode of "The Marv & Joe Show".
Starring Reverend Marvelous, Tiny Hands Joe, Billy Boltz, and Marisa "Phyllis Diller" Thalberg.
MST will carry that heavy load going forward.
Another reason why a union is much needed in every store. Cost of living increases are necessary among many other things
Is this all FT employees? If so might as well close the stores because can't run with the PTs alone, not enough coverage.
Why do you think the CFO left?
Who is the first to know the "well being of the company"?
For those that have stock yet, well I'm no financial adviser, but......
Much more will be asked and less given
But never mind me , just listen to marvelous and small hands and his low IQ tag along team, and you will be alright....
I heard Virtual kitchen designers to be eliminated as well.
It was only a matter of time.
