The EOIs (yes, plural) at COP were overly successful. They had so many people submit EOIs that they had to turn people down, with some waiting a couple of years before they were accepted and got a package. Now that being said, for this to work, the COP had to be serious about letting very experienced people walk with a bag of cash. This also ushered in a lot of younger people into management roles. Are we willing to let our older more experienced people go, and give them a package? We’ll see but I presume the whiny CFO won’t like it.
Any chance there really will be an EOI?
They did offer that at ConocoPhillips and I don't know how that turned out for them, if anyone knows?
I heard Early retirement is coming for 55 and above with 10 yrs experience, I can’t wait that to be announced.
Mcksy and co. are owned by China, same as McConnell and Chao, look it up
huh! that mckinsey story . . . for realz?!?
Don’t focus on McKinsey, they are just the executioner. The company is in self-preservation mode which means they will find someone else to do the dirty work if they have to.
What a joke. Rest assured the McKinsey drones will get their just desserts someday. Like the rest of us mere mortals, they, too, will get older and be seen as undesirable and disposable and will be jettisoned from their cushy ivory towers.
And how much do you want to bet the latest alphabet soup du jour (ESG) will be a theme running throughout their report to P66 “leadership”……..
Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. https://abcnews.go.com/US/report-sheds-light-mckinseys-alleged-conflicts-interest/story?id=84059749
I can’t wait to how moody the CFO gets during the next townhall. He’s kind of a sensitive guy for having all those millions.
It is going to get ugly
With the scandals that McKinsey and Company are involved in, I wonder of P66 will bother to show them the exit? probably not....as long as upper and middle management keep their pay and jobs.
