When I told people I worked at Bed Bath & Beyond, their response was "Oh I love that store". It was like 100 % of the time!!
Was sooo great having complete strangers and very happy customers complement the place I worked!! Imagine that... It was not that long ago.
How do we get that mojo back?

I remember when people just worked and didn’t complain about everything.
Dr. Phil is posting now.
Things change..retail is nothing like it was ten years ago. People can rant about MT but retail was shifting to online before the pandemic rather then ask how BBBY can get its mojo back..why not ask how YOU can get your mojo back. Rather then look back look ahead in YOUR life. Boards like this attract a lot of venting and negativity but not a lot of change.or positivity. Places are begging for help. You and others may want to ask yourself why are staying,?
There is NO need to name call.like that..another 12 year old on the board
Whoever just posted last…I really fu---n hate you. You are such a di-k.
Really though. You don’t want people to tell you to get another job, but that’s what you need to do. This isn’t 2005 and even when it was BBBY didn’t give two craps about you. It’s like you are in an abusive relationship and you still think your abuser will suddenly change.
I remember those times also---16 years with company in 5 different locations. They loved us for the selection and customer service. Now days they have no reason to shop here.
We won’t. Not with the current way of things. Part of the big draw to our stores was having everything and the ability to tailor our stores to meet the local need. That’s gone and they want this cookie cutter look. It’s boring. You can get that anywhere. Plus there were ample people at the customers service. And I know people here are going to say well this isn’t 2005 and you have to grow with the times. This is true. But sometimes you look to the past and take what worked and keep it. I miss all of that too. It used to be something to be proud of. Now it’s just embarrassing. And I don’t want to here the bu-----t about why don’t you leave. I work for a great sm. I have loyalty to her and her hopes to keep it going. So don’t muddle the post or my response with cr-p.
We can't and we won't. I'm downright embarrassed to say that I work for BBBY quite honestly. I'm looking for something that's respectable and with real upward mobility. I won't find either in retail.
