As someone who has worked here for a very long time, I am quite disappointed that the quality has become only a secondary thing to our leadership. How do they envision a successful future of VMW if customers are less and less satisfied with the products?

Maritz knew the best days were gone and headed for the hills, Gelsinger was a hardware hack masquerading as a software guy, and now the whole show is being run by guys who were very mediocre in their respective BUs. All in the context of virtue signaling wokeness and a scattered approach to overpriced acquisitions. Not to mention that the company has flat out gotten beat by the hyperscalers and other more nimble competitors. Oh, and the core customer base has no budget or influence anymore. What's left are buzzards picking over the bones.
Google the company name and you will get more results on security vulnerabilities than anything else. Sad a once tech powerhouse is now a tech laggard.
You expect a company that promoted the management overseeing the flagship product that had to be recalled due to super poor quality to suddenly pay attention to quality product or people?
No, why would they?
They plan to be rich and retired before all of the customers have wised up.
A kleptocracy is merely a government that is ruled by thieves…where the policies and decisions made are on behalf of those thieves.
