Probably not the right thread for this, because most people on here hate Citrix. I've been happy with my time at Citrix but wondering if anyone has had experience at Cisco. Between the two companies, which is better in your experience?

Anything is better than Sh-trix…
Thank you guys so much! I really appreciate the insight :D I, personally, have it pretty good at Citrix, so I'll be slow to move from my position for sure. Hopefully all of the unknown and craziness at Citrix slows down by fall, and then it will be a better place for everyone to work.
I worked for both companies. Cisco pays better in general but there's also more stress at Cisco, depending on the role and group. Both companies had great cultures at one time, but are devoid of that now. Almost all OEM software/hardware companies like Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM just aren't great places to work any more IMO. Fast growing mid-size companies that have culture & some brand recognition are the sweet spot
It really depends on what group you're in at Cisco. Cisco is more of a conglomeration of a lot of tech companies, with redundant product silos that compete with one another for attention. Having worked at both, I would do a lot of due diligence before accepting an offer at Cisco.
Couple of ex-Citrix colleagues went to Cisco. Some are happy-ish, some left already after ~2yo.
