Totally reckless cutting of hours

After cutting my hours, I started sending out applications for other jobs. This company makes terribly inconsiderate decisions. How do they think that everything should continue to function as it did before after this insane cutting of hours?

Over time, the front store hrs went from 220 then gradually have gone to 152. This is while adding photo labs, pass port photos, ups drop off and pick-up, and shopping for people that don’t want to come in. Still doing most of the POGs, setting about 2000 ad signs each week while standing by the self check-out that never seems to check anyone out. Don’t forget putting up trucks that are twice the size because it saves money. How I’ll never know since the truck comes every week anyway.

I started applying and got a job offer within a week. I have a new job and very little stress...8-5 M-F...off holidays....and same the pay...and if I work more hours or a Saturday I get paid for it...the best part is they appreciate me and I'll never have to worry about some one calling in and me having to work open to close....There are better jobs out there...

Maybe they cut your hours because you are a lazy colleague.

They didn't think this through. They never think anything through.
