Yeah, could you imagine trying to compete and find another job when Boeing declares bankruptcy and you have tens of thousands of people in your area all looking for a similar job at same time. Good luck with that!
The executives on the other hand are looking forward to this event and their severance packages. It's nice to be well-connected and well-prepared and not care about other people!
Why does anyone care about Boeing layoffs anymore? You would have to be a fool or an executive to still be working at Boeing. There are far better aerospace companies/products and there are far better ways to make a living these days. There's nothing desirable or special about Boeing anymore.
Likely after they cert the max10, if they can. Then major cost cutting
