I've been hearing talk about cuts in May. I don't think the source is too reliable so if somebody here knows more about it, that'd be great. If not, I'm going to take that the person is speaking out of his a-s and is just trying to get all of us worried over nothing. I truly hope it's the second option.

We return to this post because the Staples Sheet Show is like watching a train wreck...just can't look away. You know what the say about Karma...it's a female dog.
Easy to guess ahead when there may be layoffs and then say oh yeah I meant next month!
For all that left Staples already (by layoff or choice) why exactly are you posting here? If you’re so happy just walk away and don’t look back!
It will be in June. Always is. I was shafted in June 2020. Never happier!

I spoke to KL and she said cuts will be in June, followed by a go-go-private transaction where Sycamore will sell its shares to an affiliate of Elon Musk. Count on it baby.
You should be worried. But the job market is still hot … if I were still there (and thankfully I’m not) I’d already be looking …
Have you not figured out yet that everyone will be cut soon enough? Staples is going the way of Kmart.
If not May then just wait for another month. Happens often….sometimes the rumors are true; sometimes not.
