Have not seen so many Citrix resignation notices on LinkedIN in one day! The last RSUs all vested, time to jump ship- to good places ! Good luck to all of you making the move. And for those still inside, what are you waiting for? What brilliance are you expecting from JK or SM that is going to suddenly turn this around? If they didn't know it 1-2-3 years ago, what unnatural event is going to make them brilliant now?

If you have all of your RSUs vested already then Citrix probably stopped giving them to you awhile ago? Plenty of people still have outstanding RSUs that aren't even supposed to vest until years from now.
The bigger takeaway is that people are getting job opportunities thatm ake it worthwhile to abandon those unvested RSUs. That's the real damning thing.
What do you suggest for newcomers to the company? Leave, or stay (will Citrix backstab early in career)?
I’ve never been at company that laid off any engineers. The attrition is crazy even from managers leaving.
What's happening to Citrix right now is a fairly common story in tech. It's really not that big of a deal. Sometimes the competition gets them, sometimes its poor management, sometimes its an external event, sometimes it's simply obsolescence of the main product lines. Citrix is mostly the last one, although management at this point is pretty bad.
One day this company and the slow sinking of “the titanic” will be used in business schools as an example of what NOT to do. all the wrong decisions, horrific leadership, lack of real innovation. It’s a shame to see a company with such great potential lose itself. I’m just thankful I was let off the sinking ship with a “life raft” back in November. If you are still waiting for a life raft while you listen to the ELT band playing comforting music don’t kid yourself.
