Human resources nothing but a joke. When you put a claim in to investigate on things it takes him forever to do it and buy then employees are gone when you have a complaint against the ASM or supervisor they will take their side all the time . The crimes against our supervisors in our ism they were all dropped and we're starting to lose good employees on all this . So if you put a claim in human resource it will do you no good.

Our dept DS violated every possible policy he could. Made it a direct point to insult gender, race, religion, everything down to the way someone spoke. Why? Because the SM was much worse and protected his cronies.
The DS was reported along with SM dozens of times to ethicspoint. Those employees received back generic robo-responses and zero follow up. That DS was made an ASM in last 8 mos. They only take action if you steal, everything else is fair game. HR works for the bad guys folks. Don't fall for that game they play. All you can do is sc--w those back when they need that extra push from you. Make them push extra. Take care of number one only
Lowes should have never taken the store HRMs out. We had a really good one that actually cared, she would hear us out, even if we just needed to vent and had the backbone to stand up to the SM. ASMs were careful how they treated us bc they knew she would jump on them fast. I had heard not all HRMs were doing the right thing and that’s why they were taken out but wouldn’t it have been easier to just hold them accountable then have this hot mess of a HR Dept.
HR is there to protect the company first and foremost. When or if you file a complaint, you must have the details - dates, times, witnesses. Make sure you word it accordingly (google how to file an HR complaint so you know exactly what is needed to be taken seriously). They cannot sweep it under the rug unless they have a way too. That being said, if you don't use proper wording in complaint that holds them legally liable, it will be swept under the giant rug.
Please be careful as the secret you tell will not stay secret or safe. Document everything, save on an outside computer or a non company phone, etc. DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT
Lowe's Associate Relations Center is. Joke. The entire department should be fired. My supervisor was treating me like cr-p so I filed a complaint against him. He retaliated against me. I got terminated. ARC did nothing. Now I'm just going to sue them.
Tiny Hands Joe performed many code 50s in reparation for his anti-Hispanic coment. Marv had him come over and re-mulch his entire estate. So please be respectful to Joe when he visits your store.
Ultimately, HR is a company role, of and for the company. The only HR department an employee can get that works FOR them would be a union.

It's not just Lowe's. It's the same with HR everywhere. Just read the posts from other companies.
And our HR people sit in a room decorated with balloons and crayon scrawled posters saying WE'RE HERE FOR YOU! OPEN DOOR POLICY! ABSOLUTELY ANONYMOUS! what a load! The dept DS was reported on his racist attacks on employees for YEARS but not a peep in response. That clown was just promoted to ASM last 6 mos.
That's why you do bare minimum or leave..OR DISH IT RIGHT BACK IN THEIR FACE.
