It's coming. We've been hearing about it for months and it's almost here. While our store made an early attempt at setting up training schedules, most of my co-workers had their training cancelled because they were needed on the floor. Is this roll out set in stone or can stores bail on the program because it is just not feasible at their location?
Also, does anyone know how scheduling will work within "generalized selling?" Thanks.

Training has been a bust because of call outs and floor coverage.
I totally agree that’s it’s not going on west or east coast. Some stores are held very high with expectations and strandards and presentation of the store.
I don’t see it working in west coast stores. I just don’t…
Ok we are not doing this at our store. Thank God. I work in an union store and we had no training or any talk of this happening.
I sign every week and had to take the signing training.. It is so out of date we don't use most of those acetates anymore. Peeps going to be confused.
In my store the sales colleagues haven’t be train to merchandise or the merchandise team at the register. It was spoken about at the end of March and nothing since. The merchants still come in at 5 or 7 and still set set sale, and put out new goods. Sales team come in at normal time.
It has to be implemented. It is a companywide change, so I doubt individual stores have any say so in whether or not to make the changes. I say that because it involves a lot of things, such as scheduling, colleague participation, including front of house and back of house (BOH). I know several boh colleagues who have been coming in at 6 AM and now may have to come in at 9 AM because they want more colleagues available when store is open.
Sorry, I meant ISM.
