I have read a lot about redundancy in IT/Finance/HR but almost nothing about Sales. What is BCOM's sales org structure like today? Do they have coverage for the VMW Enterprise level accounts and is there a bunch of redundancy there as well? Just not familiar with their customer base or what we should expect.

VMware still engages in point selling while bonafide sales orgs are delivering exceedingly better experiences for customers through insights and a smart vision. The former is what the acquiring company doesn't need.
Don’t believe what managers are saying, Find your next role now. Get out.
There are many open sales job in the tech industry coast to coast. Better to start networking now and get things lined up to protect yourself.

If your sales you should be getting your customers to sign as long as of a contract as you can before Broadcom raises prices.
I was told by an ex-CA customer that Broadcom was raising prices by 400% as they really don't want the small businesses.
Broadcom runs sales and marketing at about a quarter of the level of investment as VMware does. So, rough math, 75% of VMware sales and marketing will be cut. If you're marketing, start looking for a job now, it takes longer to find a good marketing job. If you're sales, maximize your commission before the Broadcom deal closes and they raise VMware product prices. Then look for a better sales job. Hey, here's an idea, Dell will gladly hire VMware sales and marketing people, they appear to be doing better than VMware.......:)
Find out the address of their sales office in your country. That will tell you their focus. I checked and it's basically grade C offices. Unless sales work from home, I think majority of sales will be gone.
