I wouldn’t care if VMWare was one of those companies I worked for before where I always had to look for new, better opportunities. I think most people actually loved working here? As for me, it is a real pleasure to work here and that is the main reason why the acquisition from Broadcom has me so worried.

I’ve worked for VMware for over 15 years. I have to say I’ve worked with some of the smartest, polite and accepting people in all of my careers. Thank you to everyone of you. I really like it since not many people said no, we tried new thing and innovated along the way.
What you will realise is that your current company did not manage properly and have put you & your colleagues in an unfortunate situation.
CA and Symantec were miss managed and paid the price.
I wish Broadcom took us over sooner...you will soon understand that when the dust settles.
Broadcom will and does look after its employees, especially Engineering, Enterprise Support and R&D.
Wishing you the very best with transition to Broadcom.
Agreed. I'm fairly low on the totem pole (IT Colleague Support) and haven't been around long enough but those that know me in the company enjoy my support and thoroughness.
Sad to see such a great place to work get eaten up for the rich to get richer
I agree. Culture, product, and work/life balance are what drew me here. If all I wanted was higher comp, I might have already moved on.
