There Better Be A Good Raise For Us Next Year

I’m posting this early in the hope that a lot of Lowe’s associates will band together and get the word out to the company that we will NOT accept some pathetic 2% or 3% raise next year. They’ve been lowballing us year after year and I’m sick and tired of it.

Even before the rise in inflation our raises each year don’t even keep up with the hike in insurance premiums. We’ve been actually losing money this way and as Marvin LOVES to say over and over again “It’s standard practice in the industry.” Well, enough is enough. I’m sick and tired of his little pointed head popping up on my work screen to justify another cost cutting measure or policy change at our expense.

We need to make it plain to the people at the top that throwing peanuts at us again this year is NOT going to work. Can you imagine what your insurance premiums are going to be next year after they jack up the cost!? You think your pathetic 2.5% raise is going to even come close? We need to do something NOW. We need to start talking about this everywhere, especially in the stores. The upper managers and the district staff need to be aware that we’re not going to accept this.

And don’t take any excuses!!! You think your district manager gets a 3% raise!? You think Marvin and his flunkies accept those kind of raises!? He gets paid MILLIONS to con us into accepting this BS and it’s got to stop! We need to make it painfully clear that it’s not going to work again. Not in these economic circumstances!

We need to get ready NOW. The message has got to be sent: “You want employees Marvin? Then you better pay us what we’re worth!”

If you are waiting for next year for things to get better, forget it! Next year may look completely different than the world we're in now... people think things are just going to keep on going the way they always have. But we left normal a long way back and we're not going to see it again. Get ready!!!

Why would Marvin consider it? He makes millions of $ a year. He and his goons have misstepped since quarter one and cost the company some serious money by using 2 years of covid metrics to run the business in a time that is super close to a recession. All to try and punish Depot for his departure. The BEST survey will be early this year; so get ready to get screwed right after. Marci is not trustworthy. For a so called man of God, he acts like anything but. He is covering board members and key stockholders only….not employees. So if you think you have any value to them, think again. This is the reason that there is so much talk of unionization. If it could happen at Amazon it could happen at Lowe’s. Corporate needs to be careful now. Too many angry and fed up employees and the numbers are growing daily.

The only way is unionize the whole company. Start one store at a time and get everyone to vote it in.

Only way is mass unionization of stores. That way if we don't get our raises we shut the stores down. Corporate knows this which is why they spend millions on union avoidance consultants every year.

Lowes will use you (as all big corporations do) as drone workers, to chew up and sp-t out.)
Only the top of the hive get the big bucks . Why are people not being hired? What is the starting wage? Pi-s poor raises? The magic of lowes being a caring, compassionate company are long gone. But hey your leader wears his religion on his sleeve for all to see...... Take Care

Will never happen, Lowes could care less about its employees, here is a better idea....start looking for a new job. Best thing for people is to leave lowes and find new jobs
