Of course, no one will be fully productive and give their best when most see their job at Intel as something temporary. Some stay here for only a few months and then look for better paid jobs. If the company got rid of all the really useless positions, then maybe it could pay well those who work hard and are needed at Intel. But no one believes anymore that will actually happen?

People need to invest in themselves. No one is "coming" to save you.
The sense of entitlement is amazing.
Intel is investing in the retirement of hundreds of clans of high class brahmins.
Look around, there is a reason only RCGs are hired, they won't know any better. Your ideas are good, but will not happen. Keep a low profile and get out and never ever look back.
Intel leadership views employees as replaceable "resources"... so no there is no money or time available for training or development
lol they are investing in people definitely. he village people.
Most managers hog the travel budget for themselves. To guarantee more travel, they try to become managers of overseas employees so they can take trips to Asia and rack up frequent flyer miles and Marriott points for their vacations in Hawaii and Europe. It's the best manager scam at Intel.
Intel is overdue for a manager culling.
Invest in its people? I have had multiple training requests rejected by my manager because "there is no money in the budget." I later found that travel and training are in the same budget line item and he had been using most of the money by himself to travel to offsite meetings.
