Even in my wildest dreams, I could not have imagined a scenario like this, AVGO acquiring VMW. Could you? I’ve noticed that there are a lot of people on social media who say they’re not surprised at all because according to them the company has declined a bit and lost direction over the years.

The Debt situation was caused by M. Dell with all of his financial actions like the special dividends.
Sadly, we became inefficient. Revenue grew in the last 5 years is way less than cost and headcount. As we scale up, we should be more efficient due to economic of scale and bundling. Sadly the opposite happens..., this opened up possibilities to corporate raider.
69B - 61B check and 8B net Debt.
Anything is possible when there's a 61 billion dollar check on the table.
