GVR is no Stanley Marcus. Thank you. So well said. It says it all. SM built this place and the the culture. it’s now being dismantled so casually and and care free. For once it would be nice to read that we’re still curators and actually in the luxury business and providing memorable experiences for our customers. Every article is now self promotion of GVR and his true love for himself and his fake love for everyone else.
I served customers with Stanley Marcus. I knew Stanley Marcus. Stanley Marcus was a friend of mine. And GVR is no Stanley Marcus.
But GVR will use Mr. Stanley’s name whenever he can to make himself look good.
