If you were hoping to leave and didn't manage to get a better offer by now or if you were simply procrastinating thinking the job market would always be this good, it's now too late. All major and not-so-major tech companies have instituted hiring freezes and startups are laying off left and right. There are no viable options left for a good job if you're in tech.

God I hope so, I could really use that 31 week severance
Massive layoff are also coming to Shitrix. Too bad you didn’t get out. It’s over now.
All depends on your skills. If you are a well vers engineer, you will find job easy. If you are a SR at this joke place with a minimum experience, like 2-3 years, your bets are off to a rough reality check. I am getting job offers from amazon, facebook, microsoft and other large companies weekly, every week for the past year and this haven't changed yet. Well, it could be cause I don't work at this place anymore.
I agree with much on the content about Citrix on this site. This post is nonsense
Sheep - can’t see what’s in front of them ;)
There are two types of people in this world. Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
Clearly, with 10s of thousands of tech companies around the world, layoffs by a half dozen companies no one has heard of is the harbinger of death.
And wait! There’s more!

Yep Laceworks is not the only one. Here’s a few more. For those still riding it out at citrix, your ship has sailed

20% lay off at lacework - fears of impending recession, depression, and ww3. you guys are efukt. get out now
Wrong. For qualified candidates, this is still an awesome job-seekers market. Granted, if the poster of this thread is one of those longtime Citrix employees that has obsolete skills, then I understand your perspective and fear of seeking a change.
For everyone else, good jobs are readily available for good candidates. Keep searching... and good luck. Your skills and experience are in demand.
I think those with LinkedIn good byes made it in the Knick of time.
If you’re starting the interview process now, you’re too late bc the recent earning announcements are all saying the same thing - hiring is slowing or has been stopped bc of dismal outlook
Drama much? Judging by the daily number of recruiter emails, LinkedIn hits and phone calls, it's about the same as it was 3 months ago.
