That article is fairly misleading with a click-bait headline.
Yes, Broadcom has had deals in the past blocked by antitrust. But Broadcom and VMW are in very different spaces, and neither one is really a monopoly in their own space, so it’s unlikely to raise antitrust issues.
this is copium - theres people saying the opposite. it doesnt even make sense there would be antitrust issues here, bcom is not even in the same space
