It is fascinating to watch a company implode. In the first quarter of this year in engineering and product management there were over 500 voluntary resignations, and they have only been able to hire less than 80. Every team I interact with is discouraged, unmotivating, and just watching to see what happens after acquisition.
Leadership has no idea on how to respond. Does not seem like that have the authority pre-acquisition to offer better compensation or any form of retention. The big gambit has been to offer an additional $4500 for referrals.
