Don't believe your management, even if you trust them. All the CA managers that were kept knew weeks in advanced and knew everyone that was going to be cut. They planned the teams and such. No ICs really knew until D-Day. We got emails-- you were cut, termed, or welcomed to Broadcom. Pay is great, stock is strong. My advice, do your job, don't have anxiety. They will pay you out generously if you are cut. If you stay, hold on to your hats it will be a bumpy ride but if you stick it out it will be worth it.
