Any ideas on possible timelines? If the takeover goes ahead when can we expect to hear about job losses? What would the typical time between an announcement of a takeover and the time to actually transfer?

IF the deal goes thru and they announce it this Thursday, then I expect the deal to be closed by July, and by November it will be effective, so layoffs might occur between Q4 and next Q1
They will likely announce that they expect to close the transaction by the end of Q3. Layoffs will follow in Q4.
