Thread regarding VMware layoffs

I think the deal will not go through.

Is anyone else with me on this one?

I think it'll get political and it'll be stopped.

This is just my gut feeling, I have no insider info.

We thought the same when CA was being purchased, but it went through. Looking back it was much better for me to stay with Broadcom as with the RSU's and bonus I am making double what I was being paid 4 years ago. This would definitely never have happened with CA and almost nonexistent raises and RSU'S that stayed flat.

Except nothing is political about this, It's not Twitter, it's not Qualcomm, its not ARM/Nvidia.

if it falls through it's because someone at the top changed their mind

If the deal was going to fail, it probably would not have developed to this point. Most likely it will go through. One cheap bass-ta-d buying a company from some other cheap bass-tards.
