if you look at the earnings preview, things are far from perfect. If results are as as bad as I fear they'll be, we might be looking at some major cuts. I'm usually not the one to panic or cry layoffs, but I believe there is a reason to worry this time. I guess we'll know more tomorrow...

Looks like you were right! Was with the company for half a year as a retail supervisor and my whole store surrounded me with nothing but positive feedback. I was loving my job and a week ago my GM had to tell me that I was the first one in, first one out. Was extremely dissapointed because of how much effort I put in this job and how great the people were at the store level. However, it's always different when people above you make decisions to make them richer and richer, without caring for their employees. It's funny, I remember all the training videos showing how Best Buy put their employees first! LOL
