We're now in the constant state of waiting to get hit in the next layoff round that can happen at any point in time. I don't know anybody who is still thinking about Citrix long-term. It's all about making it another day or another week or another month...rinse and repeat. There's no future here for anybody.

The "deadwood" successfully lobbied ELT and PE to not do the standard test. They are in the clear. The announcement was made as to promote diversity and equity. Which made no sense, except of course if you are looking for more deadwood
Its not just a "winning culture" its a who can brown-nose who make everyone else think you are doing work. Back when I was a Citrix I saw this first hand. A guy on my team was the biggest sh-t-talker. He always did nothing, yet made it seem like he was always working and being productive.
He's now a director.
A lot of the core top talent have recently left the company (Dan Feller/Nick Rintalin). Citrix is becoming a joke.
"It can be an opportunity if you’re positioned right" -- but not at Citrix.
In a winning culture, the cream rises to the top based on achievements. In a failing culture, the deadwood can float to the surface without merit. Look around, and see what's happening now at Citrix with recent Director and Senior Director promotions?
Game over: The loyal ELT a-s-lickers will be ejected by the Private Equity litmus test. No fooling these folks, they've seen your BS before.
Some of us have been through layoffs at Citrix a half dozen times. It can be an opportunity if you’re positioned right… for every manager that leaves it’s an opportunity for someone on the team to step up into their role
Private Equity also gets involved to turn Citrix for a profit… eventually things will stabilize and they’ll need to pump in money so they can turn the company around and eventually offload it for $. You don’t buy Citrix for it to go bankrupt.
