My god.

The legacy of the Anson brand, what’s left of it, is left in the hands of those who destroyed it.

Albus D-mbledore ... how wrong you were, the Anton product line is alive and flourishing, now being manufactured properly in Scotland.
Now keep eating the fishy on the dishy, thou shall have the sardine when the boat comes in ....

The anson product line is dead. and anyone working either at Gateshead or up at kintore on that product will soon be gone.
You have been warned.

The inability to have Agility, with a wealth of resources says a t all?????

The inability to lead and manage the wealth of resource and skill says a t all.

That’s why you outsource, to save on cost and evade accountability.

Keep milking the cow.

Hahaha it’s too easy to claim an agile business when you outsource.

How’s your environmental footprint? Are ships powered by electricity these days?

And make sure any scrap goes in the correct bin/warehouse.

Rather sad when the pipe and fittings guys moved in and turn over more then a fully fledged manufacturing facility.

Goes to show how easy it is to be an agile business

The inability to have Agility, with a wealth of resources says a t all

The primary difference between who and whom is that we use 'who', when we want to talk about the subject of a sentence,

Office engineers. Customer relations. For those who are still employed by in the toxic Gateshead culture
You would lol not get a massive payout for lengthy service. However one port their pension. No loss to one’s retirement

But if sausage can do it.

From a Kintore point of view, I thought Gateshead was closed ? How many people are still working there

Can't put the blame on the individuals within departments, it's the people in charge making the decisions. More managers than actual workers and none of them willing to stand up and admit they f#cked up. Low cost sourcing is more expensive and takes 3x longer to arrive if it actually turns up.

It’s the monkeys that are I or have been in charge of the facility

Sales, production, GM etc all have a hand in the demise

Unbelievable.
Can’t even execute a simple shut down

Says it all

For those left. Your hanging, totally unemployable (would of found a position by now) this is what happens when

1 Institutionied, know nothing better than where and what you do
2 Promoted, via incompetence by incompetent peers, friends and or family. Who are equally incompetent
3 As per 2. These people have gone to jobs. Your in a reduced employment seeking what you do, your skills don’t match current employment market.
4 Completely out of touch

Quality ha ha only reason this place is closing is nothing more than bad management people put in positions they should never be in under qualified shop floor to pull them out the sh--e again shameful good luck place is a rats nest and has been for years

by

Post ID: @riym+1gQoZbG6

Quality is in the toilet from low cost sourcing. Everyone in the department are mo--ns. What is going to happen when quality leave? You will be left with a quality manager, who has no qualifications since primary school and a hairline that’s in worse shape than parts coming in.
All he has ever done is bully people and make people redundant. Nobody left now and you’re in the firing line! Has panic set in yet? I very much doubt it, hasn’t got the mental capacity to comprehend the magnitude of sh-t he is in for.
See you walking out of elddis again soon.

Management will be looking for the goodwill of those left to bail them out

Contractually we have no obligation to do so.
