It does not really matter if you already accepted the offer; the Broadcom acquisition news changes everything and it is perfectly reasonable for anyone to change their mind after this kind of development. If you have a better option, then you should absolutely go after it and do not feel the least bit bad about rejecting a situation that has been altered.

I guess that depends what your other options are. VMW offers great benefits and resources. I have been in a cr---y BU and an great BU here. Very dependent on your BU and manager and teammates.
It's a gig. Maybe the pay is right. Maybe learn or enhance a skill. Maybe turns out to be perfect.
Or maybe you leave in 2 years.
Wouldn't relocate to the other side of nightmare for this.
But give it a shot.
