seeing some post on linked in of "current" arista employees open to work, must be something going on.

I applied for a job at Arista a week ago:
The recruiter (not going to mention his name), ghosted me for a few days. And when I pushed the question, he replied saying something along the lines of (not with these exact words): "due to events at the company we can not continue with your application".
So, there could be something happening soon.
Go merge some MUTs and stop worrying.
Worrying got you exactly what in life?
Yes; always: In America, it is employment at will for virtually all jobs (except union jobs--very few high tech jobs are unionized), meaning you can be fired for any reason or no reason, at anytime, with or without notice, with or without severance, and with or without a reference, unless you are a member of a protected class (black, hispanic, g-y, disabled, old, etc.). H1B workers have other "protections". So, ubiquitous common law has been supplanted by a system that serves the elite. So it's the rainbow and buddies and &ss-kissers that prevail, NOT smart people--those folks became plumbers, etc.
yes
There are always rumors, but lately they've intensified so I have to ask.
