I am an analyst working in the UK office, I've been asked to put a list all employees over the age of 50 that earn over £100k. I didn't ask why, but it is strictly confidential, not to even report to the UK headcount, this is strictly going to corporate.
I know the company is going to pivot towards the Metaverse through its acquisition of Activision and an ad-based model through our gaming division, I can only conclude they want to reduce costs from their other businesses by purging over 50s who are not really the type that would understand newer technology or play games.
We should be safe this year. Next year is going to be really bad. I am not sure why offers are being made and hiring is going on...
