The decline is very obvious from a few years back. I decided it was time to go to the moment I could no longer think of at least five things that this company is really good at.

Look at share price performance since 2018 and compare with the S&P index or Dow index !
It’s unbelievable how many senior leaders are skilled at PowerPoint and Bulls@%thing but nothing else. This is the fundamental issue at 3M…. no leaders we can respect that actually know how to do and deliver science.
still good at giving people with engineering degrees management roles while they are just not capable of doing the roles,, can't build relationships with employees , but brilliant at powerpoints

Creating more redundant positions, and promoting unqualified people in the name of vision and leadership
Good at creating fanciful program names but eventually fade away over time.
