Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Rally Health is being acquired by Red Ventures

Rally Health is in the process of being acquired by Red Ventures, a shady, unethical, cult like performance marketing company out of South Carolina. Rally Health/Optum employees are all about to go through some things. Red Ventures completely guts and destroys every company they acquire. When RV starts to integrate with Rally Health they will talk about being a mission driven company (writing in pencil, running up escalators, blah, blah, blah), and sharing the same values as Rally Health, but don't be fooled. RV doesn't care about your business, its employees or its customers. They care about one thing, and one thing only - exploitive and ruthless monetization.

It's too late to stop this train, but you should dust off your resumes and let your colleagues know to do the same.

Good Luck

@otjr+1gL34SQq My info is coming straight from Optum's leadership. I am an employee of Optum involved in this new company & partnership with Red Ventures. It's not a rumor. I'm also not the OP in case you got that impression.

@mhow+1gL34SQq why do you keep spreading this completely fake rumor with red ventures. You are completely wrong. I dont know where you are getting this info or maybe you are just a skitzo

There isn't an acquisition happening from what we've been told. Optum's prevention suite is being pulled out of the enterprise and a new company is being formed (finalization & name of new company hasn't been announced). This new company will then be partnering with Red Ventures. After going down the rabbit ho-e of former employee reviews of RV & some companies they've actually acquired over the years, I'm less than excited for all of this. So far I'm hearing a lot around massive growth without any sort of plan to get there. Maybe it's just too early in the process but I'm personally a bit scared.

They've gutted editorial at RV Health. Brutal. Just a couple of days after RV's CEO called everyone a "family." @@

My understanding is that RV is “partnering” as Optum can’t develop/meet timelines in time ie: Optum Store.

Let's just eat some fish and chups and call it a day while wearing a silly hat with d-mbvita on it.

it sounds more like UHG is acquiring red ventures. Some executive just mentioned it during the fireside chat

Rally Health the company no longer exists. There is a Rally "product", but there is no Rally Health company so no idea on what RV could be acquiring...the software...that Optum owns?
And there certainly aren't any Rally "values" any longer as all employees are now a part of Optum Digital.

After doing some research on Red Ventures I hope this turns out to not be true. They better at least give us a decent severance.
