You must be a Boeing manager. It is exactly that arrogant and callous attitude toward the few remaining Boeing people actually still doing any work that resulted in this mass exodus from Boeing. Good luck finding a job when it is your turn to leave. Can't imagine any company would d-mb enough to hire anyone who was part of Boeing's leadership club.

Some parts of the pig known as Boeing are worth more than the entire pig intact. So I think that the pig is going to the butcher and the valuable parts will be sold to a competent company. Then the rest of the pig and all it's useless fat, blubber and layers of management will be tossed aside, can be woke all they want as they go bankrupt.

My manager just said there will a big announcement next week. He wasn't happy and he went home after our group meeting. I get the impression we may get shutdown.

The problem is when you promote to the president of commercial aircraft a sales engineer which is what Ray Conner was. Southwest wanted a 737 derivative so they would not have to invest in a training center for their pilots. So Boeing let that heavily influenced her decision. Even though the air frame was originally designed in the 1960s. This is why you want a chief engineer type as your vice president instead of a sales engineer.

Southwest Hit by Boeing’s 737 MAX Troubles
https://www.tipranks.com/news/article/southwest-hit-by-boeings-737-max-troubles
May 12, 2022

Boeing (BA) has had nothing but trouble in the last 3 years,
particularly over the 737 MAX jet.
However, new reports emerged recently that suggest one other airline may
have been involved, and to a much greater degree than some would expect.

That airline is Southwest (LUV),
whose reports note had a surprisingly strong hand in training pilots to operate
the Max Lawn Dart . The move contributed to losses for both companies in
the premarket.

I remain bearish on Boeing said the Boeing shill
Boeing has struggled so hard for so long that it’s going to take a good while
to dig itself out. -- $58b in debt; {by my calculations that while is 725 years}
{$58b (58,000,000,000) / 2,000,000 profit per plane = 29,000 aircraft sold}
Meanwhile, I’ve pulled to neutral on Southwest, to see what kind of impact
this news has on its operations for at least the next quarter.

The last 12 months for Boeing have had their ups and downs, {what ups?}
but for the most part, the company has been trending down for that entire time.
Southwest has seen a similar slope,
but with some deeper valleys and higher peaks in that same timeline.

It’s the latest news that might prove disastrous, at least for Southwest.
A recent legal filing, featuring internal documents from both companies,
reveals that Southwest had a strong hand in training procedures.
Due to Boeing’s inability to perform the most basic of tasks related to their
Max Lawn Dart, that of training pilots on their aircraft.

In fact, the reports noted, Southwest agreed that Boeing should remove sections
Of the Max L.D. pilot manuals referring to the automated flight control systems.

So, how’s that going to work?
Are we going to pay investors to take our worthless paper?
Just Print More Paper !!!
Just like our money supply, print more money to pay off our debt.
It’s one way to compete globally, take the bottom right out of your currency.
One Peso = One Dollar = Cheap Airplanes
