I think those at the top only care about their compensation and bonuses. If they really cared about the future of this company, everything would be much different here.
None of the leaders looks worried about the future of this company.

Let this ship with a legacy technology,
egocentric mindset and tunnel vision sink to the bottom of the ocean.
The world will move on and so should you.
Nobody needs it.
If you're not likely to be part of the company's future, then why should you care?
It's out of their hands, and they know it. So, the remaining members of the ELT can relax and wait for the end, which is now getting close.
