Does anyone know if it's closer to 100 or 1000 people that were let go?
It's the last in a long series of insults from this company that my severance after 5 years is the same as an employee with less than two. Good luck to those who were let go, and to those who weren't, good luck to you too.
Same as @1zfu below, I've been with a company for about 18 months and I had no clue they were getting ready to cut this deep (or at all). I got a Teams invite and all was done in about an hour. Same here, I was told four weeks of severance.
Was hired less than a year ago. Was told 4 weeks severance. Was not given a heads up that layoffs were happening I found out via a Teams meeting invite 30 minutes before the meeting time.
Anyone else curious if there will be a second round?
I was part of the layoffs. I know people from different teams that have been impacted as well.
I felt awful when I heard about this layoff. Has anyone in tech affected, or was this more focused on non-tech teams?

I am so sorry to hear this, I am not with the company but my employer has a busy board here too. I wish you all the best and I hope you'll be able to find job replacements soon.
For what it's worth: the leadership team has lost the way and things will just go downhill from here.

Cuts in Corporate, a lot of folks impacted, dont have the exact number.
I've left a couple years ago but I am hearing that about 1,000 people got laid off in different corporate groups.

I'm trying to figure out at this point if there's any negotiation ability with the severance package, did anyone get a different severance?
How big was the hit? Judging on about 100 views in first 30 minutes on this thread, it must have been a sizeable one...

Received 12 weeks of pay, and the ability to continue my health insurance coverage with COBRA, which is really expensive.
I was part of the layoffs, can confirm there are layoffs happening.
