How much do you think Airbnb pay their entry level software engineer and entry level data scientist?
Quit and go to Air BNB. I’m sure they pay as well as the oil industry. LMFAO.
To clarify - bottom first or second quartile.
Musk has a great idea. Twitter is probably fat with people who are in the first or second quartile of skill level. There are some oil companies with this problem too.
Musk is going to cut many at Tweeter and then re-hire from the public. Sounds like a good place to get that WFH job you so badly want. Good luck.
Ever heard of offshore?
Yea right buddy try drilling a well without land. No lease, no grease.
Why don't all of you land and supply chain people just leave. You are totally unnecessary anyway. Land is basically not needed for offshore and international and supply chain is a made up function.
People are looking for new gigs in land too. Some are even looking to leave the industry to find fully remote.
Dude trust me most of us are trying to quit, with this job market we are looking for 100% remote and most of my coworkers in supply chain are too.
I agree with the poster. Us going in 3 days a week when we worked from home for 2 years with record company profits is all about control. Oil and gas companies are living in the past by the white men that run them.
Just quit then already. Do you whine like this to your coworkers?
Most can work from home 2 days a week. Toughen up a little.
There is a bit of a difference between technical collaboration and the id--t work that air bnb does. But maybe you are doing id--t work too so that explains your view.
