None of the names listed were worthy of the CEO title - none truly understood the product, knew how to compete, or had a vision of where to go - they all rode the momentum built by others . EVERYONE of the current upper management team (I won't call them "leaders", as in ELT) that has anything to do with product/marketing/strategy should be immediately fired. Also, most upper management that came from NCR contributed nothing but "process & bureaucratic sludge" to this once great company. Sad to see.

SB was a CRO that was responsible for continuous and significant reduction in revenue, hence why he tried to focus everyone’s attention on NPS which was heavily manipulated.

And take some time to think about the people he hired and promoted…hardly the winning team.

Actually, SB looked weak by apologizing and not getting that virtue signaling clown fired that afternoon.

I really liked SB. He was able to generate a ton of energy. He handled that question about a comment he made at a town hall like a pro, with compassion and empathy.

Might be kind of hard to bring Mark Hurd back seeing as he died in 2019.

Mark Hurd was a typical worthless NCR turf monger. Great at playing internal power games, but lousy at getting away with it. "Mark Tu-d" is what he was called when I was at HP. That's why he got ousted. Nobody of worth had confidence in him.

The problem is none of the CEOs knew anything about the technology that is why TDC has lacked a compelling future vision for the last 15 years and it is finally catching up to them. Plus, they had an absent CTO in name only who did nothing to steer the ship and capitalize on new market opportunities like cloud.

VL was the one who started openly robbing the company with TBA “acquisition”, abandoning core product and exploding amount of VPs and Directors.

Mark Hurd by far..... Mike Koehler was there after spinoff from NCR and benefitted from TD market growth at the time because it was a differentiated product, but all the leaders were legacy NCR folks for the most part and didn't steer the company strategically. Totally missed the cloud momentum, and made some poor decisions on acquisitions that were really bad (think Aprimo). I can't see what anyone on this list has done to improve the business, and even more importantly damaged both client and TD employee relationships......very poor leaders.

VL was the worst. The real downfall started from him. And not only when he was a CEO, but also with decisions the board made at that time
