Many of us hesitate to leave, precisely because everyone thinks that working in retail elsewhere is more or less the same as it is here. Isn't that so?
I know a few people who have left, are still in retail, and are earning and feeling much more valued than they did here. Working in retail can be tolerable, but at Lowe’s it isn’t.
