Whether you like it or not Calhoun is the safest boeing employee on the planet today as far as job security !!! He will be calling all the shots as CEO for the next 5 years. After that he will be the Chairman of the boeing Board of Directors for as long as he wants to. If this doesn't sit well with you I strongly recommend you go find another employer to work for and avoid all the stress &whinning that this roller coaster ride will be taking you on. Some things are just not worth it. If you think the past 2 years have been bad you haven't a clue as to how ugly it's going to get from here on out.

Bezos will buy Boeing because he needs space for the warehouses.

Bring back Phil Condit. His stupid idea to merge with McDonnell Douglas was the beginning of Boeing circling the toilet bowl. Let Phil come back and pull the handle and flush Boeing down. Calhoun can give Phil a hand.

pal+1gAjB77c,

Greg Smith left Boeing because he fully understood Boeing's dire future, helped create it and he got very rich doing so. It was just time to dump a lame horse and trade up like many of Boeing's executives have and will continue to do during the next year or so. These people don't get pi---d...they just get richer...

At this point it doesn’t matter one iota who the Boeing CEO is as it is end days for Boeing. You need good engineers and engineering managers to be successful long term in the aerospace business. Boeing mistakenly abandoned that many years ago and their fate is now sealed:

Are you being serious or attempting a bad joke ? The Board of Directors changed the mandatory retirement age for the CEO from 65 to 70 a year ago specifically to retain Calhoun for another 5 years. The heir apparent, Greg Smith, got pi---d and left Boeing soon after for Intel because of it.

My first choices would be Bozo the Clown or Ronald McDonald
