Can anyone share what the functional is going to look like come isp time in June? Any pilot stores that know or any other stores whose managers have’ t been afraid to share with them. My store keeps us in the dark because they’re afraid we will all quit before then.

Thanks for the info about a Generalist’s day. Do you have insight on the FOH Support colleague’s day?
Most will be a Generalist. One day you could be coming in at 8am to do price changes or markdowns. Another shift could be in Backstage selling. Another day it could be closing in RTW. Another day could be putting out merchandise in Men’s and ringing throughout the day.
Can you please elaborate? Will there be schedules? Certain hours? Moved from department to department? Please offer more info if you are knowledgeable. Thanks
The functionals will be posted at the employee entrance with your area and function of the day. This will change daily unless you are an area specified colleague.
I work in support right now and I will be resigning in June. I was not hired for sales nor was I hired to work past 2pm. I feel sorry for my colleagues that have to work. Macys has tricked everyone.
Have them do it right from the beginning. My store did not do it right to save face with the support colleagues and now their going to blow it. We had good all around support colleagues that are now going to have to be floor coverage for selling colleagues that won’t live up to the company expectations. It’s going to be sad to see Mighty MP fall so fast because management wanted to protect their friends.
they are going to fire off all older employees for new younger employees that dont work. its will get worse and that will be the beginning of the end of this horrible company
