I adapted to what CHK wanted me to be only to find out that I lost myself. Here’s my advice. Never and I mean never apologize for the way you talk, look, or just being yourself. CHK is as toxic as they come. If someone doesn’t like who you are. Fu-k ‘em. If you don’t like me, you can go fu-k yourself. I’m here to do a job not impress you or fit into your premeditated image that you want us to fit into.

Last thing I remember was that I was called in to a conference room to start “culture” training and then I blacked out for a few years only to realize I have become a robot and started to take the form of Brian Flageman.
That’s how CHK rolls, when an incident happens they blame it on the best safety man they ever had. Nothing ever happened when P.S was there, now look what’s happening all kinds of sh—, CHK will never learn
But if your “the daddy” to the VP you can have multiple incidents blame it on the only safety guy or contractors and still have your cushy job. Been a couple months since the BV team made the news so must be just having to hide the minor incidents.
OP I suggest you grow up and act like an adult.
I lost my job in 2020 precisely because my attempts to blend were not even barely enough.
I felt that posting. So many current and former employees wish they could have just been themselves instead of trying to be who they thought could be someone that could keep their job.
Extremely toxic and back stabbing environment.
