Can i sue boeing for discrimination? My temp manager only got the opportunity for the position based on the color of his skin. He has no merit what so ever. He has the worse work ethic on the shop floor as a mechanic and reads at a 6th grade level.

Boeing forces you to sign statement acknowledging that your layoff is NOT age discrimination in order for you to collect your layoff severance package. So yeah, it's both age discrimination and blackmail...but getting a divorce from Boeing is a blessing and goodness. Boeing is toxic to your soul and general well-being if you are a high quality honest person.
Boeing has been sued several times for age discrimination. They’ve been very fortunate that it was thrown out as it was obvious they were engaging in it. That’s the only reason that their layoffs were so skewed toward older workers. They knew they could get away with it.
Problem is there work force has been so decimated by layoffs there’s not many older workers left to layoff. And the lack of technical expertise is starting to be evident in the flaws in the design. I don’t have a lot of hope that the next Boeing airplane will be a technical leader.
When you farm all of your work out you know longer have the expertise to innovate. When Boeing closed the composite center in Renton you knew that the future would not be bright for innovation at Boeing.

I had the exact same Boeing experience, except it was a she, a really incompetent she. I quit. Working at Boeing was the worst experience of my life.
