Instead of the management finally giving some thought to why good employees are leaving, it seems that VMware is more concerned with finding ways to spend even less money on their employees. Isn't it amazing how they think that cheaper workers will solve all the problems in this company?

A kleptocracy is merely a government that is ruled by thieves…where the policies and decisions made are on behalf of those thieves.
The company leadership is basically a pack of buzzards picking what little meat is left on a rotting carcass. The company is done, and customers should run (not walk) away from this very broken set of tools as fast as they can. There is not one customer, not a single one anywhere in the world, that is fully successful with VMW products.
Management is only concerned with their next stock sale. If they lower costs the stock might bump and they cash out some.
That solution would be implemented at the management level.
Why do you think the decision makers WANT to solve any problem?
They have demonstrated for a least 10 years that they are not willing to spend any effort to address problems.
The decision makes are basing their decisions on what is best for THEM.
If cheaper / less qualified workers replace all the competent workers, they will increase their bonuses for reducing expenses all the way down to the dead cat bounce.
