Regretted giving two weeks notice

I'm counting the days to leave this place behind. What I couldn't even imagine was that after I gave notice, I would be overwhelmed with ridiculous amount of work.

It's like they want me to do work for the next two months in 14 days. Has this happened to anyone else?

If I had known, I would not have bothered about being professional and leaving on good terms with the company.

Had the same happen. Just focus on the tasks that help your coworkers you liked. Your manager can handle the rest.

Absolutely agree with the other posts. And don't work a minute over 40hrs unless you really want to do that. You don't owe them anything more.

If you are still stressing about it, ask your supervisor to prioritize your tasks, with an understanding that you may not get to everything. You are in control at this point.

I would give it my normal amount of effort, no more, no less. That’s as professional as you need to be under the circumstances.

Good luck in your new opportunity.
