I was laid off in February and I managed to find a new job that pays about the same I earned at Micro Focus within a month. The job has one huge benefit: the work atmosphere is ten times better! I didn't realize how cr---y the work culture was there until I left. I hope everybody is doing as well. Looks like the company did us a favor!

I left on my own accord about 2 years ago and did not realize how underpaid I was until I started working somewhere else. Now my salary is double than what I made at MF and that doesn't include restricted stock units and a plethora of other benefits MF just didn't offer. Not to mention that I get to work with more modern technologies. My only regret is that I didn't leave sooner.
I wasted years di-king around at MF, and before that, HPE, tap-dancing in one place and hoping for better things which never came. When the merger with MF happened I vividly remember Meg spewing BS about the "largest pure play software company in the world" and encouraging everyone to buy MF stock. I will never forgive her that wretched heathen for that.
Got one with former manager.
